Recycle your old clothes and create something fabulous ! Using traditional rag rugging techniques start to make your own rug, cushion, bag or hanging.

Beginners Embroidery
Learn lots of embroidery stitches whilst working either a stitch sampler or a cottage garden picture.

Creative Metal Thread Embroidery
Experiment with a variety of different threads and materials to create your own original design.

Lino Print & Stitch
Spend a fun day creating your own lino print blocks. Bring your design ideas or get inspiration from our wide selection of designs. Print your blocks onto fabric and learn how to add stitch. For details of other print courses available at the studio contact [email protected]

Goldwork Embroidery
Learn the techniques and stitches used in this beautiful and traditional form of embroidery. Start a stunning piece of work whilst you learn to use metal threads and more.

Stumpwork Embroidery
Another traditional technique, this is raised embroidery with which you can create beautiful 3-dimensional pieces of work. The sheep project is aimed at beginners, I also have insect and flower projects which are suitable for those with more experience.

Canvaswork Embroidery
Learn this counted method of embroidery and create a canvaswork sampler, needlecase or pincushion. Worked on canvas fabric using a variety of threads, you will learn many stitches specific to this exciting technique.

Crazy Patchwork
Choose from our large selection of fabrics and embellishments and create a hand or machine pieced panel for a cushion, a bag, a quilt or throw. Have fun embellishing your work with stitch and trims.

Applique Pictures
Interpret a landscape or building in fabric and stitch. Choose from our selection of images or bring your own – why not work your own house? This technique uses fabric applique with hand or machine stitch.
