Courses Oct – Dec 2020
We have struggled a bit recently, having booked courses, then postponed them, rebooked them, then postponed them and booked them once again ! It has been frustrating to say the least !!
We have now published our list from now to Christmas in the hope that we may be able to run these as planned. All our sessions are run according to Covid-19 prevention guidelines, with reduced numbers of students at individual tables.
As you can imagine, we have a lot of catching up to do, so some of the sessions may already be fully booked with people who had reserved places earlier this year, but please get in touch and we can let you know whether there are any vacancies.

Course Information
The Crafty Owl Studio has taken all necessary precautions in respect of Covid-19 guidance. For your safety, numbers on all sessions are currently restricted to a maximum of 6 people. Booking is required for ALL sessions including Crafternoon Tea and Stitch a Month. Although it is not compulsory, if you wish to wear a face covering please bring this with you. If you are showing any symptoms we ask you not to attend. As many of the courses listed were booked up before the lockdown priority will be given to those who have already paid a deposit.
Full day courses are £45 per person including all materials, tea/coffee, cake & biscuits. The glass fusing course is 10-00 – 1-00, £45. Either bring your lunch with you or order something from Grandpa Thomas’s Bakery when you arrive. Half day courses are from 10 – 1 or 1 – 4 and are £25 per person including all materials plus tea/coffee, cake & biscuits.
Crafternoon Tea is a session where you can bring something you’re working on and stitch/knit/chat/drink tea and eat cake ! 12-00 – 3-30, £5, tea coffee and cake provided. Bring your lunch with you if you like. N.B. Currently necessary to book for this as max of 6 people allowed.
Stitch a Month is divided into two parts.
Part 1 is a half day course once a month enjoying hand stitching while working towards making your own fabric book of stitch samples. Suitable for beginners and those with more experience. There are now 2 dates for this, either the 4th Weds or 4th Thurs in the month, from 1-00 – 4-00, £15 including all materials and refreshments.
Part 2 is aimed at those who have completed Pt 1 and focusses on different stitch techniques, working on samples which will be combined to create a textile collage. This is on the 2nd Weds of the month, 1-00 – 4-00, £15 including materials and refreshments.
