Piles of Fabric and Painting Pegs.
It is no wonder my house is never tidy ! I always have at least 20 projects on the go. I just feel I’m making headway and then someone (like my friend Janet) arrives with 5 bin bags full of fabric as a present for me ! I’m not complaining of course, just wondering where to put it all while I decide what it is going to be used for.

There are some stunning fabrics, and some delicious colour combinations just waiting to be made into cushions, bags, quilts…..

We used some of these fabrics in the Crazy Patchwork session we had here last week …

I have run several rag rugging courses this week but didn’t get any photos, so here are a couple of pictures of some of mine, one finished, two works in progress …

This is the sort of thing you can create ( or make a start creating !) on my proddy rag rugging courses. It is made entirely from recycled fabric and clothing !
The following example is using both proddy and hooking in a wide variety of materials. I have also added beads and decorative items ..

The next one is a cushion front in progress, I drew Paisley pears and am working them in satin, silk, wool, glitzy yarn and sari fabrics …

So, with all this rugging going on I have run out of prodders ! Thankfully my son, Tom, makes them for me – here are another 50 almost completed ! …

… looks like we’ll be doing a lot more rugging !
